The French label joins the creative partnership that started in 2015 with the release of the sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x VaporWaffle 'Sesame,' dropping in September of 2021. The unique construction of the VaporWaffle emerges with a midcut collar and prominent baseball-style stitching, built with khaki textile and suede paneling. The layered Swoosh branding adds further color to the look, while the heel pull-loop and doubled-up tongue tags add Nike and Sacai branding. Jean Paul Gaultier instead gets the callout on the sockliner, while underfoot, a double-stacked foam midsole provides cushioning, incorporating a split heel and giving way to a waffle rubber outsole for traction.
